I had several plumbing projects as part of a small home renovation and so I got multiple quotes from GCs and plumbers. The projects were: a new relocated heat pump water heater to replace gas, a new laundry water supply and drain, another replacement drain line, and a pressure booster pump. This is in a 50 year-old house with its share of quirks, so none of these were totally straightforward – think tight clearances, inconvenient foundation walls, missing vents, etc.
Octavio went through the details of what I was planning, and then got into the crawlspace to check things out himself. After doing his homework he called to let me know about a potential code violation with what I wanted to do, and he checked with the city to confirm when I was a bit skeptical. I promptly received a detailed quote after getting some more advice from him and adjusting my plans. Pricing was competitive and Octavio seemed way more knowledgeable than almost everyone else I spoke with.
Communication was great throughout: Octavio double-checked what I wanted and explained exactly what he and his team were doing at each step. They handled a few issues discovered along the way in stride, and pointed out another potential problem I wasn’t aware of elsewhere in my plumbing.
